The Board of Directors of Ann’s Place is pleased to announce the appointment of Bethan Austin to its Board. 

Bethan moved to Ridgefield three years ago from Richmond, Virginia.  She graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics.  Bethan spent fourteen years as an employee of what is now Bank of America in the Corporate Finance division helping large corporate clients with corporate finance needs.  Bethan also was a consultant for three years for Dominion Capital, a subsidiary of Dominion Resources in Richmond, Virginia.

She devoted much of her time to her son's school and other non-profit organizations including St. Christopher's School where she was President of Parent's Association and also chaired several major fundraisers for the school.  Additionally, she served on the Junior Board of Children's Hospital Foundation for nine years.   She became involved with Ann's Place in 2014 as a member of the Development Committee.

Bethan and her husband John have two sons, David (21) and Bobby (19).

The Board of Directors of Ann’s Place is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Eden to its Board. 

Jamie Eden joined Boehringer Ingelheim in August, 2008 and is currently Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the U.S. He is a member of the BI US Corporate Management Committee, BIPI Operating Committee, and the Global Human Resources Committee. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of Compensation and Benefits for BI’s U.S. operations. Jamie has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in progressively responsible positions including most recently with Swift Transportation, where he was Director of HR, responsible for leading the Human Resources function for all operations and corporate functions.

Jamie has experience in various HR generalist and specialist roles in the United Kingdom and United States, including work across multiple industries such as Financial Services (Barclays), Retail (Target Corporation), Aerospace (Honeywell) and Logistics (Swift Transportation).  Jamie has a passion for making connections between changes in the external environment and associated opportunities with respect to HR and business strategy.

He is also a member of the BI Cares Foundation Steering Committee and the BI Political Action Committee Board. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Kings College London.
