Ridgefield and Wilton JoyRide owners, Amy Pal and Corey Londoner announced today that they have sold their popular cycle studios to Amy Hochhauser and Rhodie Lorenz, the co-founders of JoyRide Studios who currently operate the Westport and Darien JoyRide Studios. Starting today, all four Connecticut studios will be under the management of Hochhauser, the CEO, and Lorenz, the Chief Creative Officer.

"I had such a great time building and running the studios. Over the past two years, I learned so much and it was both challenging and fun. I met and worked with so many dynamic people across the Ridgefield and Wilton communities and I owe a lot of my success to being surrounded by so many talented people, including two terrific partners," said Amy Pal.

In a press release, Hochhauser and Rhodie said, "Starting today, all four Connecticut-based studios (Westport, Darien, Ridgefield and Wilton) will be owned and operated by the parent company, JoyRide Cycle Studio, LLC and its founders."

Hochhauser added, “With the growth and popularity of JoyRide across Connecticut, we wanted to create a more uniform brand experience for our customers.” As a result, there will be universal pricing across all four studios, and riders will be able to use one common class pack at any of the company’s four studios, interchangeably. Another benefit will be increased access to JoyRide’s pool of talented instructors who will now be able to rotate across the locations, offering a more varied experience."

Hochhauser, Lorenz and Debbie Katz, all Westport residents, co-founded JoyRide in June, 2011, when they opened their first studio in Westport. Their goal was to create high-end boutique studios that offer endorphin- surged and challenging workouts, led by talented instructors and set to motivating music. After their success in Westport, they opened a second studio in Darien in 2013.

In 2014, Ridgefield residents Amy Pal and Corey Londoner opened JoyRide Ridgefield as the first licensed studio, and a year later, Pal and her husband Kevin Manley opened JoyRide Wilton.

Hochhauser and Rhodie have announced new and consistent pricing in all four studios. The new class price is $26 per class, with the first class discounted at only $15. Customers will have the opportunity to buy multiple class packs (5-, 10-, 20- and 50-) at discounted per class rates that they can use for cycle or Studio 2 (off-the-bike) classes.

JoyRide will also continue to offer the popular monthly unlimited package, as well as special pricing for early morning and evening classes and teen classes. For riders who wish to pre-book classes two days in advance, prior to the booking window opening Sundays at noon, there are two options: Joy 50 Plus and Monthly Unlimited Plus. JoyRide is also offering a new customer special of 3 classes for $30, for a limited time.
