Ridgefield Playhouse & Parks & Rec Aid Enchanted Garden in Aftermath of Fire

On Tuesday morning, April 14, there was an early morning fire at The Enchanted Garden, located at 165 Danbury Road (Route 35) in Ridgefield. The roof fire that damaged Enchanted Garden Studio One was caused by the gutter's ice-melting heating coil.

"While the roof is repaired, our programming has had to be displaced for a few weeks," explained Noah Manheimer, co-owner of Enchanted Garden.

Beginning on Monday, April 25, the Enchanted Garden Studio One programming will operate out of the preschool space next to Yanity Gym, and The Ridgefield Playhouse dance studio.

"We are extremely grateful to the Town of Ridgefield & Paul Roche, and to Allison Stockel and the Ridgefield Playhouse for making these spaces available. And thanks to all the friends and Enchanted Gardeners who have offered their support during this challenging hiccup in the lives of the Hirt-Manheimers," said Noah Manheimer.
