Award-winning writer and teacher Sally Allen, PhD. will lead a workshop designed for writers and/or anyone interested in exploring how language and structure shape ideas. Look at both sentence-level and larger structural issues, including how story arc, character development, tension, and point of view work together to explore a book’s themes and ideas. Sally Allen is the author of Unlocking Worlds: A Reading Companion for Book Lovers,which weaves personal stories with fifteen thematized, annotated, and illustrated reading lists for what to read next. Allen lives in Westport.
