Earlier today a motorcycle crossed over the double-yellow line on Rt.7 in the vicinity Simpaug Turnpike and struck an oncoming vehicle.
The Ridgefield Police received the call approximately at 13:14 p.m.
The motorcycle operator was transported to Danbury Hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries. Rt. 7 was closed in both directions for approximately 45 minutes as a result.
Accident remains under investigation.
