The Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD) introduces a series of adult and teen fitness and dance classes this fall, including Ballet, Yoga, Ballroom Dancing, and Barre Fitness.

“We are excited to offer a 6-week ballroom workshop on Sundays, Barre Fitness and Yoga on Saturdays, and Open Ballet,” explains RCD Artistic Director, Amy Piantaggini.

Ballroom with Kelsey Burns and Abdiel Jacobsen

Six Sundays exploring Latin ballroom dance from Oct. 2 – Nov. 7 from 3:30-5:00. No experience or partner necessary! $30/class or $150 for the 6-wk workshop.

Barre Fitness with Mary Beth Hansohn

Incorporating ballet technique, resistance training, mat work and cardio to give you a ballet dancer's streamlined and toned look. Class is completed with stretches to lengthen the body and cool down the muscles after the workout. Socks or bare feet are suitable. Please bring a towel. $30/class or $425/semester. Saturdays 8-9 am.

Yoga with Mary Beth Hansohn

Stretch & strengthen with hatha yoga for adults & teens. $30/class or $425/semester. Saturdays 12:30-1:30 pm.

Open Ballet with Dona Wiley

Always wanted to try ballet? Or been away from it for a while? We offer beginning instruction in ballet for adults & teens. $30/class or $425/semester. Mondays 7:30-8:30 pm.
