A Small Organic Farm Started in a Ridgefield Backyard
Founded in 2016, Horseshoe Farm is dedicated to producing vegetables, fresh flowers, eggs, honey, and maple syrup through their small scale organic operation. This agricultural farm is located at 142 Wilton Road West, Ridgefield, CT.
The architect of this farm, Pete, started Horseshoe last year from his backyard, survived the winter, and since then has successfully sold to restaurants and weekly farmers' markets.
Pete is dedicated toward a lifelong mission of producing pesticide-free food and bringing agriculture back to Connecticut.
In addition to a stand in front of the Wilton Road West farm which is open on Thursday from 1-6pm, Horseshoe Farm has a booth at the Wilton Farmers Market every Wednesday.
