3rd Annual Wataba Lake Fest is Sept. 9

The third annual Wataba Lake Fest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, from noon to 6 p.m. (rain date: Sept. 10) at Hippie Hill (25 Clearview Drive) in the Rainbow Lake neighborhood of Ridgefield.

There will be live music, arts and crafts vendors, and children’s activities, with food and drink provided by Tiger’s Den restaurant and Gigi’s ice cream truck.

Organized by Rainbow Lake residents Roger Grannis and Kevin McCarthy, the Wataba Lake Fest (named after Rainbow Lake’s original moniker, Wataba Lake) is open to the general public.

Live music will run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the Wataba Fest stage. Scheduled acts include:

Admission to 2017 Wataba Lake Fest is a suggested donation per person. All proceeds go toward the RLA Lake Improvement Fund. Advance tickets can be purchased online at at the top of the page.

Rain dates for this year’s festival are Sunday, September 10th, and Saturday, September 16th.
