Politically Incorrect Comic Nick DiPaolo returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse on September 29

Nick DiPaolo’s brutally honest, unfiltered, and politically incorrect stand-up comedy make him a comedy club favorite and superb radio host.  Now, Nick DiPaolo returns with his uncompromising point of view and sarcastic comic style to the Ridgefield Playhouse.  Don’t miss a night of laughter on Friday, September 29 at 8pm as a part of the Barts Tree Service Comedy Series.  DiPaolo is a triple threat of comedy, thrilling audiences with live stand-up, on the radio, and on television.

The Boston native moved to New York, where his unique style was embraced by audiences at clubs like Catch a Rising Star, Caroline’s and The Comedy Cellar.  He has performed on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Conan O’ Brien and has had three half hour standup specials on Comedy Central, a Showtime Special “Raw Nerve”, a self-released special “Another Senseless Killing” and most recently “Inflammatory”.

He was one of the stars on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and a stand out on many Comedy Central Roasts.  DiPaolo’s strong political opinions and razor wit make him a perfect fit for talk radio. He hosted his own show on New York’s 92.3 Free FM, co-hosted “The Nick & Artie Show” and presently hosts “The Nick Di Paolo Show” on SiriusXM and “The Nick Di Paolo Podcast” on the RiotCast network.  Make it a great night out with dinner and a show - visit Tigers’ Den Sports Bar and Grill (23 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield) and enjoy a FREE glass of house wine or draft beer with the purchase of an entree when you show your ticket! Nick DiPaolo is a frequent guest of the Chaz and AJ Morning Show on media sponsor 99.1fm WPLR.

Nick DiPaolo was twice nominated for an Emmy for his writing on HBO’s The Chris Rock Show and has had acting roles on FX’s Louie, Inside Amy Schumer, The Sopranos, Cop Show and CK’s critically acclaimed Horace and Pete as well as many other sitcoms.  In this day of watered down comedy, Nick Di Paolo’s brutally honest performances remind us of what great stand up should be: funny, socially relevant and a little bit reckless.  This is a night you don’t want to miss!

For tickets ($35), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org.  The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
