Hunan Noodle House Applies for Signage in Downtown Ridgefield

Noodles are coming to Downtown Ridgefield

This week, Jeepy (aka Jason) Januar will go before the Town's Architectural Advisory Committee to present his plans for a "Hunan Noodle House" sign to be placed outside of 461 Main Street, the space that housed Wild Ginger.

Jason, who is the General Manager of Wilton's Hunan Cafe, will bring his modern interpretation of Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisine to Ridgefield, with a slight twist. "It will be an Asain Noodle Bar," said Jason, who added, "We will have both Ramon and vegetarian homemade noodles."

The Planning and Zoning Department told us that after learning about the signage plans, the AAC will make a recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Department.

Ridgefield's Building Department told us that a permit for 461 Main Street was filed in November of 2017 and accepted by the Building Department. Plans include moving a counter and kitchen appliances.

If all goes well as far as inspections and Town approvals, Jason told us Hunan Noodle Bar will open in February.

Hunan Noodle Bar does not yet have a Facebook Page (Jason hopes to get this live by next week). In the meantime, check out Hunan Cafe in Wilton to get an idea of restaurant vibe and offerings.
