Evening of One Act Plays Opens at Theater Barn Friday, March 9th
The Ridgefield Theater Barn will present An Evening of One Acts 2018 Friday and Saturday evenings, March 9th through March 31st at 8pm, and Sundays March 18th and 25th at 2pm. Produced by Paulette Layton, the evening will feature eight original, unpublished short plays, and four 1-minute vignettes, which celebrate life and relationships through an assortment of perspectives.
Bringing together an incredible ensemble of actors from throughout Fairfield and Westchester counties, the evening features Chris Ceponis, Brian DeToma, Zach During, Lori Franzese, John Freyer, Larry Greeley, Patricia Holzhauer, Nick Kaye, Kelly Kirby, Vincent LaRusso, Cathy Malloy, Kristi McKeever, Roberto Perez, Matthieu Regney, Elaine Reidy, Danette Riso, Stefanie Rosenberg, Stephen Ross, Chhanda Som, Geri Travis, Kay Ullman, Emily Volpintesta, and Donna White
An Evening of One Acts is a popular annual event on the Theater Barn calendar and they are thrilled with this year’s selections, which include: A Name By Any Oher Name, written by Albi Gorn and directed by Linda Seay, NetFits, written by Janet Lawler and directed by Alexis Vournazos, Pilot, written by James Balestrieri and directed by David Fritsch, The Great Thing About Me, written by Stephen Baluzy and directed by Flori Doyle, Double Date, written by Albi Gorn and directed by Nick Kaye,Good Grief, written by Janet Lawler and directed by Deborah Carlson, The Erythrosine Ballad, written by Pat O’Neill and directed by Debbie Levin, My Scale is Lying To Me, written by Scott Mullen and directed by Kay Mayr, and the 1-minute vignettes: Tip #5, The Other Other Man, and The Undertaking, all written and directed by Carol Mark, and Import & Essence, written by Susan Goodell and directed by Carol Mark.
The Ridgefield Theater Barn is located at 37 Halpin Lane; cabaret seating, bring food & beverage, doors open one hour prior to curtain. Tickets are $35 for adults and $28 for students, seniors, and veterans, and available at ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org.
