Ridgefield Community Volunteers is holding a diaper drive for the Malta House in Norwalk Connecticut.
RHS freshmen Kate Garson, Mary Hage and Ella Kagan, pictured above, would like to thank St. Marys School, Almost Home daycare, and the Ridgefield Rec Center for assisting with this drive. Anyone who would like to donate diapers (open packages accepted) and/or gently used baby clothes can drop off your donations at any of these three locations through May.
Malta House is the only home for pregnant women above the age of 18 in Fairfield County, and one of a limited number of programs for young homeless mothers and their babies. Learn more about this nonprofit organization here.
