Today is the final at Ridgefield Police Department for Police Dispatcher Isabel “Issy” Caporale who is retiring after 11 years of service.
Issy is a lifelong Ridgefielder and the definition of a “townie". Issy is active in the community and in her spare time referees lacrosse, field hockey and basketball from youth-college level.
Prior to dispatching, Issy served in the United States Coast Guard for 25 years earning the rank of Chief E7. Issy is beginning a new career in private security for St. Mary's School here in Ridgefield.
