Ridgefield Sidewalks Transformed Into Art Galleries, Art Walk is Underway!

Easels, artists, paintings, drawing, photography, and art-lovers filled the streets in downtown Ridgefield for Artist Day, a highlight of the Guild of Artists "Art Walk 2019"

Art Walk 2019 is underway in Ridgefield and includes 56 artists from Ridgefield and surrounding towns in Westchester and Fairfield counties showcasing their paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture and much, more in downtown storefronts and inside stores around Ridgefield.

The weather could not have been more perfect for today's "Artist Day". Art lovers from near and far took to the sidewalks to admire the many pieces of art and to meet their creators.

Here, you see Tina Sturges, whose work is displayed outside of Books on the Common. Shown is photo #4 is art on wheels in the form of motorcycle that belongs to Ridgefield resident, Tom Beck. It is yours for $15K.

Art Walk continues after the opening weekend festivities through Sunday, September 8th.
