Brooke's Farmers' Market: When You Believe All Things Are Possible

The Harvest is Plentiful, the Love Deep for Brooke Blake

It takes a village, and today, Ridgefield answered the call.

On a sun-filled and unseasonably cool Sunday, the community gathered in downtown Ridgefield and joined in solidarity for an 11-year-old 5th grader at Barlow Mountain Elementary School who is currently battling DIPG, a rare, untreatable form of pediatric brain cancer.  Thank you to Megan Couri for organizing today's Farmers' Market to benefit Brooke Blake and her family. It was amazing. 

From the local businesses that donated their goods and services for the Market as well as the raffle, the community members who harvested the finest from their home gardens, and the local residents who filled their reusable bags to the brim, today was living proof that Ridgefield is more than a community, we are a family.
