Registration Deadlines for Elections courtesy Town of Ridgefield
By Mail – Applications must be postmarked by the seventh day prior to Election Day. (Tuesday, October 29, 2019)
In Person – Applicants must appear in person at the Registrar of Voters Office by the seventh day prior to Election Day by 8:00 pm (Tuesday, October 29, 2019).
Online - Applicants must register to vote online by Tuesday, October 29, 2019 here
Those whose rights as to age, citizenship or residence mature after October 29, 2019 but by Election Day, may apply in the Registrar’s Office until 5:00 pm on the day prior to Election Day (Monday, November 4, 2019). Proof of rights maturing during this time frame is required.
Election Day Registration – Individuals may register and vote on Election Day (November 5, 2019 from 6 am to 8 pm) in the Registrar of Voters Office if they meet the eligibility requirements for voting and are not already registered to vote in the municipality. A current valid ID and proof of current residential address must be presented.
