A Ridgefield-based business is happy to be celebrating their 20th year in business. The company is run by Ridgefield resident Tony DeMarco, President & CEO, who holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Iona College. DeMarco spent several years working in the IT field for both technology companies such as ComputerLand, Centel Information Systems and ABB before deciding to open his own business in Ridgefield in order to be close to home for his family.
“When you open a business, it is a lot of hours, so working in Ridgefield made it close enough to home that I would be able to easily make time for family events like my kids’ sports. Ridgefield also offers us a convenient location that is central to most of the businesses that we serve and target,” DeMarco stated.
In reaching this significant timespan two decades in the making, the company has been providing premier customer service and IT Support servicing many companies in a wide range of businesses including healthcare, industrial, financial and other services businesses. DeMarco said he was inspired to start his business after spending several years serving the technology needs of corporate America when he saw an opportunity to do more for the growing businesses that needed more personal attention and solid advice.
“I believe that business owners and small business executives need professional consultation to make wise decisions that will keep their businesses secure and efficient and I just love working with people,” he said.
“When I first started this business, the core of it was more of a break/fix solution and product sales. Since then, the industry has changed for the better. Proactive, fully managed IT solutions is the name of the game. The biggest challenge is to educate businesses on the importance of properly managing technology in their businesses and ensuring that they are doing the right things to keep the environment safe. We have been successful in doing this by the personal attention we provide and digging deep into our clients’ environments and providing them with top talent from our organization.”
