Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield is one of the satellite clubs selected to host matches for the 2020 National Platform Tennis Championships. This annual event starts this year on Thursday, March 4 and ends on Sunday, March 8. Silver Spring will host matches on Friday, March 6 from 2:30-5:30.
The Paddle Nationals is a tournament that will crown the national champions in platform tennis for the current year and has been played in Chicago, Philadelphia and Fairfield County, Connecticut, in prior years. This year, the tournament host site is the Country Club of Darien with early rounds being played at 35 selected locations in Fairfield County including Silver Spring.
