Four questions with Nancy Dichiora, owner of Laurent Lighting and Design.
Why did you start your business?
As an interior designer of 30 years, I felt that creating a boutique lighting showroom was much needed in our community. Along with lighting we also offer a full range of interior resources such as furniture and area rugs displayed in our showroom.
What is your best selling product/service?
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and quality products. Providing free site visits to assure our clients are getting the correct product for their home has been well received and much appreciated by our clients.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We love supporting local businesses. We welcome designers to come in and utilize our showroom. The local companies we are currently working with are, Ridgefield Supply, Jill Rae Design, HLTHX Co, Jody Fierz Interiors, W.N. de Sherbinin Products Inc, LG Marketing LLC just to name a few.
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
In the last 6 months of re-opening after the pandemic, Laurent Lighting and Design has expanded our showroom to include Norwalk Furniture, Laurent Exclusive area rugs. Also remerchandised our showroom with all new lighting products with price points for everyone.
