Three questions with Emily Malagisi, founder of Gather and Graze.

What is your best selling product/service?

My Valentine’s grazing box has been very popular. The combination of delicious meats, cheeses, treats and fun colors really draw people to this box.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

I use as many local businesses as possible and always hit the local places first. Just last week, I went to The Cake Box, Elizabella’s, and Ross' Bread. I’m excited about the spring and summer when I can use local farms and farmer’s markets. One of my favorite things about creating grazing boxes is that each one is a bit different. This business is tailor-made for supporting my fellow local business owners.

Have you “reimagined” your small business?

I think it’s fair to say all that small businesses have had to reimagine their services in the past year. The original concept for Gather and Graze Ridgefield was to create boards and boxes for parties and small gatherings. Given our current circumstances, I have tried to create experiences for customers by helping them make celebrations unique and small moments special. My products are something different and fun, and right now everyone could use a change of pace. My hope is that even when we return to normal and large gatherings are safe, people will still look to make small moments memorable.
