Yesterday, Thursday, March 25, government officials including US Representative Jim Himes, Connecticut State Senator Will Haskell, Connecticut State Representative Aimee Berger-Girvalo and Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi stopped by the Mass Vaccination Clinic at Yanity Gym. Representatives from both the health department and RVNAhealth were on hand to answer questions.
"It was a full day of doses at Yanity Gym though one notable attendee held off on vaccination. Senator Will Haskell is waiting for April 1, when his State of CT phase officially opens up," RVNAhealth explains.
The Mass Vaccination Clinic is located at Yanity Gym, 60 Prospect Street, a building that is normally dedicated to sports programming for the Town of Ridgefield. The building itself is large enough to house the necessary components of a mass vaccination clinic and is just a stone’s throw from RVNAhealth’s in-town location.
RVNAheath is the licensed provider and is thereby approved for the storage, transportation and administering of this precious cargo. Yanity Gym allows for:
- 11 Vaccination Tables with ample spacing
- Greeter, Registration areas
- Ample space for waiting in line
- An observation area
- Over 500 people per day based on open stations
