Congratulations to Ridgefield resident and standout swimmer Connor Hunt who is a winner in Connecticut high school sports awards program and will now move on to the national USA TODAY High School Sports Awards show where he will compete for top honors against other statewide winners across the country.
Winners of the national competition will be announced on August 5 during an Award Show hosted by Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski.
Hunt, who joined Kieran Smith, AJ Bornstein at the 2021 Olympic Trials, is also a Ridgefield Aquatic Club alum who trained under Emmanuel Lanzo. He will join former Tiger teammate A.J. Bornstein at Michigan.
