Good Luck to all of the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield’s Youth of the Year Candidates! Tune in LIVE at 7pm!

Two years ago, in March of 2020, the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield made the very difficult decision to postpone their annual Youth Leadership Celebration. At the time, they thought they would be able to host the dinner in late April of 2020. Little did they know, it would be almost exactly two years later before they were able to gather again in person to celebrate their amazing youth leaders.

And, tonight, Friday, March 18, 2022, is finally the big night - the night the BGCR Club members have been waiting for and the excitement is certainly in the air! The BGCR Club Community - families, Club members, Club supporters, and community leaders, along with the Club staff and the Board of Directors - will gather to honor the Character and Leadership Program members in Gem Club (5th-grade members), Torch Club (middle school members), and Keystone Club (high school members), individually recognizing members for their commitment and achievements. The evening will conclude with the crowning of the 2022 Youth of the Year, the most prestigious honor bestowed upon a Club member.

The highlight of the evening is hearing the Youth of the Year candidates speak about their personal BGCR experiences and the impact the Club has had on their lives. For many of the youth, tonight is the culmination of 10 to 12 years of "growing" at the Club.
