John Goetz, RHS Girls Cross Country & Track head coach reports that Ridgefield High School Girls Track team is the FCIAC Championship runner-up!
Coach Goetz says:
Wins by Elizabeth Buonocore, Regan McGrath, Grace Hooker, Georgia Keller in the 4x800; Elaine Mathews, Grace Tomasetti, Maya Rubio, and Hooker in the 4x400; Mathews and Hooker go 1-3 in the 300m hurdles; Katie Rector takes 2nd with a sub-5:00 1600; the 4x100 of Mathews, Anna Gillan, Rubio, and Julia Bragg take 2nd; Keller 4th in the 800m; Buonocore 4th in the 3200m; Cheyla Williams 4th and Carli Ciavarelli 5th in the discus; Rubio 5th in the 400m; Ciavarelli 7th and Williams 8th in the shot put.
