Gwen and Jon Rubin of Ridgefield, along with Lynda Jacobson and Bill Swanson of Des Moines, IA announce the engagement of their children, Lindsay Caryline Rubin and Seth William Jacobson-Swanson.
Seth proposed on the candlelit steps of their first NYC apartment in the West Village. He presented her with a stunning pink padparadscha sapphire and diamond ring.
The future bride graduated from Ridgefield High School in 2009. Ms. Rubin graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC with a bachelor of science in International Fashion Merchandising. She is currently the Director of Operations at New York-based interior design firm, Blake Brunson.
Mr. Jacobson-Swanson graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor of science in finance. He is currently a Director at the Bank of Montreal in Minneapolis, MN.
The couple live in Minneapolis, and plan to marry this summer.
