Ridgefield High School senior Robbie Hinkle receives Rotary's $10,000 scholarship!

Ridgefield High School senior Robbie Hinkle is the recipient of the Rotary Club of Ridgefield $10,000 scholarship! 

Robbie was one of 226 students who applied for the Ridgefield Rotary Scholarship this year, according to Dan Sheehan, the 2022-23 Ridgefield Rotary Club President.

Robbie will be attending the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA where he plans to study business. 

During his tenure at Ridgefield High School, Robbie was a member of the football team where he played both safety and wide receiver positions. 

Sheehan says, “Robbie was completely amazed by the amount of the scholarship. He had no idea that it was a $10,000 award. Needless to say, he was extremely happy and grateful!”

In addition to the Rotary Scholarship, Robbie received Dimitri’s Academic Scholarship and Ridgefield Basketball Association Leadership Award.
