
The Benjamin Restaurant owners announce dinner service 7-days a week, plus Sunday brunch, with plans to start lunch service on August 30th.
Local restaurateurs Rob Moss, Dave Studwell and BJ Lawless, who own and operate Washington Prime and BJ Ryan's restaurants in Norwalk opened The Benjamin Restaurant in June.
“We’ve been working closely with Executive Chef, Ben Traver to craft and create fun, casual brunch and lunch menus that appeal to everyone,” said BJ Lawless. “We pulled a few popular dishes from our upscale dinner menu to provide a variety for those who may want our signature Halibut or Foie Gras for lunch.”
Brunch lovers are invited to dig into a wide range of sweet and savory options. Brunch is not just a meal, it’s an experience and the menu captures everything from Filet and Eggs Benedict (Arnold), French Toast, Soft Scramble, Cold Lobster Roll, Smoked Trout Melt, Fresh Oysters, Shrimp Cocktail... even a Sunday caviar service. Handcrafted mimosas and bloody marys will complement the menu. Brunch is offered on Sundays from 11:30am - 2:30pm.
Lunchtime guests can enjoy a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for business lunches, social gatherings, or simply a delicious break in the middle of the day. The menu is filled with innovative dishes that reflect the American-French inspired cuisine. Highlights include: our signature Burger, Salads with choice of protein and Sandwiches taken up a notch! Lunch is offered Wednesdays - Saturdays from 12 - 2:30pm.
The Red Door is a private event space located on the property just beyond The Benjamin Restaurant and gardens. The stand-alone space is designed to accommodate intimate parties for 20 people to large events for up to 300 guests.
The indoor/outdoor capacity is ideal for tented weddings and galas. In addition, the space yields multiple private dining spaces that are a/v tech ready for business meetings, pharmaceutical lunch presentations or more personal events, like hosting a 50th birthday party or baby shower. The space will also be used for farm-to-table dinners, summer BBQs, pig roasts, wine dinners and more. A VIP concierge is on staff to help guests determine food and beverage options, entertainment, floral design and run of show.
