Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
Meet George Earl, Jr. founder of George Earl Jr. Transportation.
Why did you start the business?
I started my business as a necessity to support my growing family. I wanted to have flexible hours to be able to spend time with my family. After considering the needs of our local community I registered my business in January, 2020
What is your selling product?
I specialize in providing transportation to all major airports in the tri-state area as well as trips to New York City for a night out for local residents. I am available six days a week (Monday-Saturday).
How many local businesses you can name?
* My business relies on Ridgefield Car Wash and Limestone Car Service to keep my vehicles in top shape.
* My attire is cleaned by Village Cleaners. What’s Cooking and Chez Leonard are great breakfast/lunch options on the go.
* Absolute Septic & Excavation LLC is there when I need to be dug out of the snow.
* Susie Laura Massage is great for my sore muscles after long hours behind the wheel.
