The Frozen Feet Challenge (FFC), presented by CT Run Co, returns for its 8th year on New Year’s Day. This winter tradition challenges participants to walk or run at least one mile outdoors every day for six weeks, no matter the weather. The 2025 challenge is expected to draw more than 1,500 registrants, with participants celebrating their Final Mile on February 12th.
Individuals and teams are welcome to join this free event. Registration opened on December 26, 2023, and is available at Frozen Feet Challenge Registration.
“Our goal with the Frozen Feet Challenge is to inspire healthy habits during a time when many of us tend to stay indoors,” said Megan Searfoss, owner of Ridgefield Running and Darien Running. “Fresh air and daily exercise offer incredible physical and mental benefits, and the FFC fosters camaraderie and accountability among participants.”
