Chaz DellaCorte of Ridgefield Places in Top 10 at National FBLA Competition

Chaz G. DellaCorte of Ridgefield was among the four University of Scranton students who placed in the top 10 in competitions at the 2024 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. In total, the four University students took home five trophies from the conference that took place from June 24 to 27.

DellaCorte, a finance major, won two trophies at the national conference. He came in eighth place in the future business executive competition and ninth place in the future business educator category. DellaCorte is a senior at Scranton.

David Mahalak, D. Eng., a faculty specialist in the Operations and Analytics Department, serves as moderator for University's FBLA collegiate student organization.
