Colabella Fine Art Gallery proudly announces New Pathways, a dynamic dual exhibition featuring the acclaimed works of Chicago-based artist Lisa Kinzelberg and Swedish-American painter Karolina Karlsson. The exhibition opens to the public on May 15, 2025 and runs through July 13, 2025, with a special Instagram Live preview event hosted on May 14, benefiting Danbury Hospital.
New Pathways celebrates two distinct yet harmoniously aligned artistic visions—each deeply engaged with personal narrative, place, and perception.
Lisa Kinzelberg’s latest series, Cities of the World, transforms street maps into soulful reflections of urban life. Her visually striking works balance precise cartographic form with emotive abstraction, inviting viewers to consider how we form profound, personal attachments to the places we inhabit. Currently exhibiting at both Virgil Catherine Gallery in Illinois and D. Colabella Fine Art Gallery, Kinzelberg's Cities series previously sold out during Scope at Art Basel Miami and is now featured on the cover of PARK Magazine NY’s Winter 2025 Issue.
A portion of proceeds from the exhibition—5% of all sales—will benefit Danbury Hospital initiatives in the Ridgefield area, supporting community wellness and outreach.
