Founders Hall Members Visit Connecticut State Capitol

Founders Hall members enjoyed a recent tour of the Connecticut State Capitol as part of the On The Road Program. This trip included a tour of the House of Representatives Chamber and the Senate Chamber. Many thanks to the elected officials who took the time to speak with us!
Founders Hall plans a variety of day trips each year to destinations including museums, theaters and botanical gardens, in addition to a diverse program of social, educational and physical fitness programs on their campus next to the Rec Center in Ridgefield.
Founders Hall was conceived and built by Founders Hall Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization started by the families of Elaine and John Couri and Liz and Steven Goldstone. Their objective was to set a new standard for senior recreation and education by combining a state-of-the-art facility with a caring staff and an exciting curriculum of classes and activities. Founders Hall has more than 3,300 active members and is dedicated to providing a diverse program of social, educational and physical fitness programs for today’s active seniors in a warm, fun and stimulating atmosphere.
