
Ridgefield, CT – December 26, 2024 – Founders Hall is proud to announce Lori Berisford as the new President of the Board of Directors, marking her 10th anniversary with the organization since joining the Board in December 2014. Lori’s extensive experience, strategic leadership, and steadfast dedication to community service will support and strengthen Founders Hall’s purpose of fostering education, wellness, creativity, and connection for adults 60+.
“Lori’s strategic insights, collaborative spirit, and dedication to Founders Hall’s purpose make her an exceptional choice for the position of President of our Board of Directors,” said Grace Weber, Executive Director of Founders Hall. “Her commitment to advancing our programs and strengthening our community impact is truly inspiring.”
Lori brings a wealth of expertise as a respected leader and advocate. After a 20-year career in Human Resources with the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group, she transitioned to philanthropy, contributing her skills to numerous local organizations. Her distinguished resume includes leadership roles with A.C.T. of CT, Kids in Crisis, RVNAhealth, the Ridgefield Playhouse, and the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra.
Lori’s accomplishments in community service are noteworthy. Since 2009, she has been deeply involved with SPHERE, a nonprofit that empowers adults with developmental disabilities. She has served as SPHERE’s Board Chair and President since 2014, advancing its mission and programs.
“Serving on the Board of Founders Hall has been an incredibly rewarding experience,” said Lori. “I am honored to take on this new role and look forward to working closely with my fellow board members to ensure Founders Hall continues to thrive as a vital resource for the Ridgefield community.”
Lori resides in Ridgefield with her husband, John. They are the proud parents of two Fairfield University graduates, Lane and Liza.
As President, Lori will focus on guiding Founders Hall’s strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships, and supporting its continued success in serving the vibrant community of Ridgefield’s 60+ adults.
