Ghosts of Ridgefield is returning on October 25 – 27, 2024 from 5 to 8pm.
Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center’s Ghosts of Ridgefield is a series of spooky and fun ghost tours happening three nights only: Friday, October 25; Saturday, October 26; and Sunday, October 27.
Led by a KTM&HC guide, our popular specialty tours offer ghostly encounters and storytelling with a historic twist. Traverse the museum’s site and encounter the ghosts of some of Ridgefield’s former residents, who are eager to share their stories with passersby. The ghosts haunting KTM&HC this year and showcasing the town’s rich history include a Scottish immigrant cook who worked for the Gilberts in the early 20th Century; a journalist who helped anti-Nazi refugees escape from France during WWII; a Black woman whose life was shaped by 19th century prejudice and racism; a leading women's suffrage activist; a survivor of the Battle of Ridgefield; and a Wild Thing.
Tours go out every ten minutes, with the last tour departing at 7 p.m. Tours hold a maximum of ten people and are about an hour in length. Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes: tours are exclusively outdoors, rain or shine.
