Heat Heading to Ridgefield! Cooling Center OPEN at Rec Center Tomorrow

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, June 18 and lasting through Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, hot and humid conditions will combine to produce maximum heat index values approaching 100 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday and likely continue into Thursday and Friday with more widespread heat index values of 95-104 degrees.

The Rec Center, 195 Danbury Road, will be open to residents for cooling Tuesday through Friday, 10am-6pm.
