The Run Like a Mother event, founded by Ridgefield resident and CT Run Co. owner Megan Searfoss, has become a beloved tradition for mothers in Fairfield County and beyond. Each year, thousands of local moms gather outside The Ridgefield Playhouse to kick off Mother's Day with an invigorating run through the picturesque streets of Ridgefield. The 5K race welcomes both beginner and experienced runners, culminating in a family celebration at Ballard Park with refreshments and activities for children.
