Pop Art! Kids Joins Forces with RHS Theatre for Sensory Storybook Theatre

Rosie Snow Voulgaris, founder of Pop Art! Kids and a former Creative Marketing/Graphic Designer, has joined forces with Jacquie Militano, current Theatre Director at Ridgefield High School and former Disney performer, to create Sensory Storybook Theatre. This collaboration combines their expertise and passion for sensory visual art and expressive theatre.

Sensory Storybook Theatre brings together Pop Art! Kids and Cue You Theatre Co., featuring performers from RHS Theatre. This sensory art and theatre playgroup brings popular stories to life through immersive sensory bins, musical singalongs, and character interactions.

So far, characters from Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland have made appearances. The program aligns with RHS Theatre’s season, with upcoming events featuring Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz. These events also support the theatre’s Family and Sensory Friendly Matinee Performances, with a portion of proceeds benefiting RHS Theatre.

Children ages 2-6 are invited to join the fun. Feel free to dress on theme (or to get messy) for this magical experience!
