The Prospector is excited to announce that 'The Famous Frames Film Festival' is open for submissions! Prospector is seeking sparkly short films that are remade parodies of famous movie scenes. Use your creativity and whatever is laying around the house for props and set design. Replace those A-list actors with family, friends, neighbors or whomever you can drum up as your actors. The Famous Frames Film Festival will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 1pm! Prizes will be awarded to select films. Submitted films must be:
- Recreated famous movie scenes
- Parodies strongly encouraged
- 1 to 8 minutes in length
The deadline to submit a film is Wednesday May 28th at midnight. To submit your film, email it to jeff.bonistalli@prospectortheater.org. You can also drop off a thumb drive with your film on it (mp4 or mov file) to the Prospector Box Office. Festival participants will receive custom Prospector certificates. The Film Festival flyer is attached to this email for you to share with all of your filmmaking friends! Most importantly, we look forward to seeing YOU at the movies!!
