As Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD) embarks on its 60th anniversary, the Main Street dance school is open for enrollment, offering a variety of classes for students of all ages. With a rich history of nurturing young dance artists, RCD continues to be a cornerstone of the community, providing a comprehensive dance education that emphasizes technique, artistry, and creativity.
RCD offers a range of classes designed to cater to different age groups and skill levels. The Young Children's Program, including the popular parent-and-child classes for ages 1, 2, and 3, allows parents to share the joy of dance with their little ones. In addition, the school has an exciting lineup of classes, including Pre-Ballet, the newly introduced Broadway Babies, and adult tap and ballet, among others.
Mark your calendars for RCD’s Fall Open House Friday, September 6, 2024.
Highlights include:
- Workshop on mental health for dancers with Dr. Michele Gargan
- Free pre-ballet mini preview/trial class for new dancers, and injury prevention with Samara DiMattia from CT Dance Physical Therapy.
