The Ridgefield Citizen Police Academy is just a few weeks away, offering residents and those who work in town a unique opportunity to gain insight into law enforcement. The eight-week program begins on March 19, 2025, and will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at police headquarters, located at 76 East Ridge Road.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and are encouraged to register before the deadline on Friday, March 14. The academy provides a hands-on learning experience, allowing attendees to engage with officers, understand police procedures, and deepen their connection with the community.

To apply, pick up an application at the Ridgefield Police Department front desk, visit the Town of Ridgefield website and navigate to “Government” > “Police” > “Citizen Police Academy Application,” or scan the QR code available on promotional materials.
