Team USA’s Kieran Smith of Ridgefield competed in the preliminary heats of the Men's 400m freestyle early Saturday morning (5am EST) at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Despite a strong effort, Smith, who won a bronze medal in Tokyo, did not advance to the finals. He finished 6th in his heat with a time of 3:46.47.
