Ridgefield Police Deploy New Drone Thanks to Grant from Ridgefield Thrift Shop!

The Ridgefield Police Department would like to announce that we have fully deployed a new drone, in an effort funded by a generous grant from the Ridgefield Thrift Shop. The drone is an essential component in supporting search and rescue efforts as well as accident reconstruction and other investigations that require aerial surveys. The department's new drone pilot, Sgt. Mark Caswell has recently completed his training and testing for this position and is ready to deploy this new technology, whenever it's needed. A BIG thanks to the Ridgefield Thrift Shop, for their continued support and investment in the wellbeing of the citizens of our community.
