On Saturday, October 5, from 2 to 4 p.m., join us at Ridgefield High School to celebrate our town's newest and largest solar installation—the impressive Solar Canopy at Ridgefield High School. This marks Ridgefield's 12th solar array, a testament to our community’s commitment to clean energy. Did you know our solar projects now generate a whopping 33% of the Town's electrical demand? That's something to celebrate!
But wait, there's more! Residents are encouraged to bring their EVs to showcase and chat with other EV enthusiasts and the EV curious. And for our solar-powered households, dig out your August 2024 utility bill for a chance to win prizes. We’ll also have a raffle for a new electric-powered leaf blower, open to all attendees!
This event is free and open to the public. Families welcome! Let’s come together to celebrate Ridgefield’s sustainable future and showcase our commitment to a greener tomorrow.
