Ridgefield's Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off T-Shirts, Get Yours and Support Community!

Ridgefield’s 12th Annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, co-chaired by Steve Maydan and Jessica Collins, will take place in Ballard Park on Sunday, September 22nd. This is a free event and open to the public!

And... brand new this year... "We have shirts!!! Several of you asked at last year's event for shirts," says Collins.

Presented by the Connecticut Giant Pumpkin Growers Club, this year’s 12th Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off promises to be even BIGGER than ever! The Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off has become a GIANT success and attracts people of all ages! We are looking for exhibitors, farm stands, crafters/artisans to fit the “FALL,” “harvest,” and “agricultural” theme. Pumpkins from the New England region compete for cash prizes. Attendees visit the Park to view the pumpkins, meet the growers, listen to music, and shop the farm stands and other vendors. There will also be musical entertainment, farm animal exhibits, children's activities, and more!
