Why did you decide to take the reins of Paris Salon?
When I purchased Paris Salon, which has been a cherished part of Ridgefield since 1964, I saw more than just a business opportunity – I saw a chance to create a lasting legacy for my daughter Vanessa and contribute to our vibrant community. With entrepreneurial experience from South Africa to Los Angeles, Ireland to Canada, I knew I could transform this beloved local institution into something special while preserving its historic charm. Today, Paris Salon stands as a testament to modern luxury with vintage appeal, where we're not just providing services – we're nurturing a community space where relationships flourish and memories are made.

We're particularly known for our specialized services, including our signature 'Paris Platinum Promise' for blonde maintenance and our comprehensive range of luxury treatments. What truly sets us apart is our holistic approach to beauty and wellness – from complimentary aromatherapy hot towel treatments to energy work with our Reiki Master. Our combination of traditional salon services with luxury treatments creates an exceptional experience for our clients. Every service is designed to provide not just beauty treatments, but a complete wellness experience.

In Ridgefield, community support is a two-way street, and we're proud to be deeply woven into the fabric of our town. We've had the privilege of supporting numerous local initiatives, including the 2025 State of the Town Address with Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, RHS Dance Team, Ridgefield Cub Scouts, and the Ridgefield Golf Course. We're particularly excited about our recent involvement in the Senior Spectacular Expo and the upcoming Ridgefield Playhouse 25th Anniversary celebration.
As Ridgefield's only full-service, pet-friendly salon, we believe in creating meaningful partnerships that strengthen our entire community.
