Wooster Hollow Café Celebrates 10 Years in Ridgefield! Congrats to Ron Herman!

A beloved Ridgefield gem, Wooster Hollow Café, is celebrating a milestone anniversary—10 years of serving up delicious food, warm smiles, and an unbeatable sense of community. It was on Christmas Eve 2014 when Ron Herman took the leap and purchased the café, transforming it into not just a local dining spot but a hub where friendships are formed, and camaraderie thrives.
Reflecting on the past decade, Ron said, “It’s a big accomplishment for a restaurant to make it 10 years! While it hasn’t always been easy, it has been an absolute joy owning Wooster Hollow Café.”
For Ron, a former General Electric executive who retired after a 30-year career, Wooster Hollow was his first business venture. Though the early years came with challenges, his determination and passion for creating a welcoming environment paid off. Today, the café is a staple in the Ridgefield dining scene, cherished for its fresh, affordable breakfast and lunch offerings.
“It has been my pleasure getting to know and serve our family of employees and customers,” Ron shared. “Our success comes entirely from you, and I will be eternally grateful. I wish you and your families a Happy and Healthy New Year.”
At the heart of Wooster Hollow’s success is its team of 13 dedicated employees, who work together as more than just colleagues—they are family. Whether whipping up hearty breakfasts, crafting savory lunches, or chatting with regulars over coffee, the staff’s warmth and hospitality shine through.
For the café’s loyal customers, Ron and his team extend their deepest gratitude. "We would not be here without you," they affirm. “Please know that we always strive to serve delicious, fresh, and affordable food in a fast and friendly way.”
As the Wooster Hollow Café looks forward to the next decade, it’s clear that this little slice of Ridgefield will continue to be a go-to spot for comfort food and community connections. Cheers to 10 years, and here’s to many more!
