Putnam Hospital Center hosts Heart-Healthy Lunch and Learn

Medical experts at Putnam Hospital Center will lead a community discussion on cardiovascular disease focusing on prevention, detection and treatment during a Heart-Healthy Lunch and Learn event.

The luncheon is from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in the hospital’s Michael T. Weber Conference Rooms, 670 Stoneleigh Ave.

Enjoy a complimentary, wholesome lunch while hearing from cardiologist Dr. Anthony Messina of The Heart Center and registered dietitian Jenna Godfrey on diet and exercise, reducing stress and risk factors, cardiac risk assessments and advanced treatments. The Heart Center, a division of Hudson Valley Cardiovascular Practice, PC, is an affiliate of Health Quest.

“The key to a heart-healthy lifestyle includes a balanced diet and exercise,” Messina said. “Management of cardiac disease now allows for less invasive therapies.”

Seating is limited. Registration is required. To reserve a seat, please visit www.healthquest.org/heartlunch or call 845-230-4773 (TTY 800-421-1220).
