Temple Beth Am Family Picnic – Food, Fun, and Friends!

Who doesn’t love a good Picnic? Temple Beth Am is bringing their annual event back to FDR State Park on Sunday June 2nd from 12-4pm. This is the 3rd annual event that brings together Temple members and non-members alike for a delicious barbecue, games for all ages, and more!

“We wanted to create an event where Temple members can gather outside of the Temple space,” says Picnic co-founder Joel Iskowitz. “This event gives people the chance to get to know their fellow Temple members (and potential new members) in a more casual setting”.

The Temple Beth Am Men’s Club provide all the food, which includes burgers, hot dogs, chips, soda, and more – at no cost to the attendees. Games like an egg toss and a scavenger hunt are played in the space, while some of the younger attendees spend time on the nearby playground. Lee Kader, Men’s Club co-President says “Our goal is to have something for everyone at the Picnic”.

This event is free to members and prospective members, but donations are welcome and will go directly to the Temple membership fund to help ensure the Temple’s continues growth.
