SOMERS FOOD PANTRY AT ST. LUKE'S CAN USE OUR HELP

Just wanted to alert you to the fact that the volunteers at the Somers Food Pantry at St. Luke's are collecting non-perishable foods and preparing boxes for drive-thru pickup at the church across the street this Friday (Mar. 20th). There are drop-off boxes at the entrance to the church office. The volunteers come from various parishes in Somers.

These boxes are for the needy in our community in this time of social isolation, whether they are the elderly, the handicapped or families greatly impacted by sudden loss of income.

The volunteers have to make sure the prep room is clean, the food boxes/cans are clean and then pack the boxes. They will take all recommended measures to ensure that materials are clean.
