That's A Wrap! Mummification in Ancient Egypt

That's A Wrap! Mummification in Ancient Egypt

Monday, October 25, 6:00 - 7:00 pm

From the Giza Plateau to the Valley of the Kings, mummification was a complex and costly process believed to be essential to securing an eternal life in the great beyond. Discover this fascinating Ancient Egyptian funerary practice that lasted thousands of years and allowed the ancient Egyptians a solid knowledge of human anatomy.

This program focuses on the Egyptian idea of bodily preservation and how the process worked.

Please note: Images of actual mummies will be shown.
